Early Years
Dr. Vetrimaaran was born in England to a Sri Lankan Tamil family and was raised in a Tamil-speaking household. He pursued his early education at highly regarded institutions before going on to study Medicine at Trinity College, Cambridge.
Rise to Prominence
After completing his medical training, Dr. Vetrimaaran practised in London, undertaking specialist training in surgery and later qualifying as a physician. He subsequently expanded his work into broader areas of healthcare, contributing to both clinical practice and public sector initiatives.
He later relocated to Bangladesh, where he founded Unihealth, a private medical company established with the aim of improving access to high-quality healthcare across the country.
