1. The RoBD Open Licence (ROL)

The Government of RoBangladesh (managed by DBS Studios) believes in empowering our community. The RoBD Open Licence is designed to allow citizens, content creators, and private factions to use our intellectual property to build their own roleplay experiences safely.

The Core Principle & Approval

Subject to strict compliance with these terms, we grant you a non-exclusive licence to use, reproduce, and build upon public RoBD lore, names, and approved visual assets. No prior permission is required to begin, provided all rules within this document are strictly followed.

2. What You Can Do

Under this licence, you are actively encouraged to use specific RoBD content in the following ways:

  • Official AssetsYou are permitted to download and utilise official government logos (e.g., Police badges, Ministry seals) strictly for RoBD-related graphics and community content. All usage must include the required declaration.
  • Media & Content CreationYou may create videos, streams, graphics, and articles based on RoBangladesh roleplays, lore, and government structures.
  • Private Factions & BusinessesYou may create private companies or civilian factions within the RoBD universe and use public lore to establish your backstory.
  • Community DocumentsYou may reference our laws, the constitution, and official procedures to create your own roleplay guides or resources.

3. Strict Restrictions

Important

To protect the integrity of the official Republic, the following actions are strictly prohibited and immediately void your licence:

No Third-Party Games

You may not develop standalone Roblox games, rival cities, or separate experiences set within the "RoBD Universe." This requires a bespoke licensing agreement.

Monetisation Limits

You may not sell our logos or assets. Content creator monetisation (YouTube/TikTok ad revenue) is permitted but must be formally declared to RoBD Group Management.

No Impersonation

You may not present your project as an "Official" government department or agency to mislead citizens.

Asset Ripping

Stealing, exploiting, or leaking proprietary 3D models, code, or internal UI designs is strictly forbidden.

4. Required Declaration

If you utilize official logos, government seals, or substantial lore in a community project, or if you generate monetised content based upon RoBD, you must provide a clear and visible declaration.

Visibility Requirement (No Loopholes)

This declaration must be prominently displayed, easily legible, and immediately accessible to viewers. You may not attempt to bypass this rule by using microscopic fonts, blending the text into the background (e.g., white text on a white page), hiding it behind obscure drop-down menus, or burying it where a reasonable person would not find it.

Mandatory Disclaimer Format

"This project/content utilizes assets from the Government of RoBangladesh under the RoBD Open Licence (ROL). It is an independent project and is not officially endorsed or managed by DBS Studios."

5. Termination

This Licence, and the rights granted hereunder, will terminate automatically upon any breach by you of the terms outlined above. The Government of RoBangladesh reserves the right to revoke this Licence from specific individuals or entities at its sole discretion if it determines the Licensed Material is being used maliciously or in bad faith.
